I've really been quite impressed with the Great Wall, and had hoped to revive my enjoyment of hitting the beach and bush tracks, but alas the only off-road I've had time to do in this one was parking it on the lawn on weekends to wash it! Only selling because I've realised the beach thing isn't going to happen, and it's getting too many k's on it running back and forward to work, and at the same time costing me more than I need to be paying in fuel, so I've bought a turbo diesel car.
That's not to say it's thirsty for a true 4WD! Depending on the type of fuel used (always either 95 or 98 octane) it's been as low as 8.95L/100km combined highway and urban. I reckon it'd get even better than that on a full highway run. It's had all of it's services, so all of the paperwork is in order. It's got just under 2 years (1 July) of it's manufacturer's warranty remaining. Everything works as it should, and really it's a surprising vehicle to drive, handling quite well for an SUV. It's no speed demon, but it gets up to the speed limit effortlessly, and cruises along comfortably, and relatively quietly. And remember, these are a true 4WD with both high and low range 4WD thats electronically selectable, even while moving (4H only), so you can actually take them into REAL off-road situations!
Alloys have no marks, tyres barely worn, all upholstery is spotless, it's always had mats in it so the Scotch Guarded carpet looks new. It's got all of the mod-cons, reversing sensors and camera, MP3 stereo CD/DVD with both USB and AUX inputs, bluetooth connection for your phone, climate control A/C, electric driver's seat, auto wipers and headlights, etc. Of course all of the seats are leather! It's also got both a rubber deck mat, deck cover and fire extinguisher in the back.
You're saving heaps on the drive-away price of a new one, and over $1000 on three services, and it's only 12 months old, so be quick and grab a bargain!
